Andy Murray had a rather emotional stint in Melbourne where he announced that his career could terminate in no time because of his well-known hip injury.

The operation

It was Andy Murray on Tuesday to communicate that he underwent surgery to leave this statement on the social media

“I underwent a hip resurfacing surgery in London yesterday morning…feeling a bit battered and bruised just now but hopefully that will be the end of my hip pain 😀 I now have a metal hip as you can see in the 2nd photo 👉👉 and I look like I’ve got a bit of a gut in photo 1😂”

What is going to be Andy’s future?

It’s still completely uncertain if Murray will be back on tour and he didn’t mention anything in his port. This operation will help the former world no.1 with his pain, but time will tell if he will have a shot to get back to competitive tennis.

1 thing is sure

Besides all this uncertainty, the only sure thing was that the Tour was a bit too quick “to say bye bye” to Andy that he might recover after this surgery.

That would be great!
