Andy Murray staged a miraculous comeback after many mistakenly thought he called it a career after the last Australian Open. The British Legend underwent hip surgery to get fit to play singles and even win a title in Antwerp.

Unfortunately, when an athlete recovers from a tricky injury, he or she is often at risk of having more physical issues since the all body needs to adjust. This is what has happened to Andy that had to cancel 2 training blocks in Miami because of a problem to his groin. Murray suffered a bruise to his pelvic bone when competing in the Davis Cup in Madrid last month.

Even if Andy had the impression that this was not a big issue, eventually after consulting his coaching team, he decided to skip the training in Florida.

Will Murray play the Australian Open?

Playing the upcoming slam in Melbourne is still on the cards for Andy that will travel to Australia on the 27th of December.
