Stefanos Tsitsipas’s season has been badly affected by a shoulder injury that prevented him from properly competing during the Sunshine Double in Indian Wells and Miami. There are some question marks about his fitness ahead of the clay-court season. Fortunately, the Greek sensation revealed that his shoulder is fine right now. He also admitted that he was quite frustrated in the US for not being able to play at his best.
“I’m really happy I’m in a position now where I don’t have to think about the pain anymore. I don’t have to change things around that. So, I’m able to go back to the way I wanted to play,” said Tsitsipas during a recent interview.

Currently the world no.3 (career-high), Stefanos played his last match on the 28th of March when he surrendered to world no.12 Karen Khachanov 7-6(4) 6-4 in the 4th round in Miami (draw).
Presently, during this year Tsitsipas has achieved an overall 14-4 match record. Stefanos Tsitsipas’s best achievement of this year was reaching the final at the Australian Open.
Tsitsipas has scheduled to compete next in Barcelona (Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell). He will start the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 17th of April.
Bonzi in Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters, ranking, and results in 2023
LLLWLWWWLW Currently the world no.48, Benjamin has managed to achieve an overall 12-8 record in 2023. Benjamin is now playing in Monte-Carlo Rolex Masters where he defeated the world no.41 Bernabe Zapata Miralles 6-1 7-5.
Benjamin Bonzi will take on the world no.3 Stefanos Tsitsipas in the 2nd round on Tuesday at 6:30 pm on COURT RAINIER III. Their current record is 2-0 for Tsitsipas.
Benjamin was the finalist in Pune (Tata Open Maharashtra) and in Marseille (Open 13 Provence).
Bonzi will play next in Madrid (Mutua Madrid Open). He will begin to play the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 26th of April.
Stefanos Tsitsipas and Benjamin Bonzi fought against each other only twice. Their current head to head is 2-0 for Tsitsipas. Previously, the last time they fought against each other, Stefanos Tsitsipas won 6-4 6-4 in the semifinal in Mallorca (Mallorca Championships) in June 2022.
