Novak Djokovic suggested that Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, and Holger Rune would form the next "Big-3" in men's tennis.

Djokovic Press Conference In Monte Carlo

The next “Big-3” in men’s tennis could be made up of Carlos Alcaraz, Jannik Sinner, and Holger Rune, according to Novak Djokovic, who was a part of the first Big-3. Together with Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer, Djokovic has been a member of the frightening triumvirate that has dominated tennis for the past 20 years or more, winning a combined 62 Grand Slam trophies. Fans and experts alike have been puzzling over who would make up the next “Big-3” since Federer retired last year and the other two are nearing the end of their careers.

The 35-year-old, who described the rivalry between Alcaraz, Sinner as “refreshing,” suggested that Carlitos, Jannik, and current Paris Masters champion Holger Rune would emerge as the generation’s leaders and eventually form the next Big 3.

“It’s also refreshing to have another great rivalry that people get excited about, which is him and Sinner. We have seen some thrilling, exciting matches between the two of them, in Miami.

So I’m sure that those two guys, along with Rune from the younger generations, are going to be the leaders. So maybe that’s the next big three.,” said Novak Djokovic
