Something weird happened during an extremely entertaining and friendly mixed double played by Roger Federer and Belinda Bencic against Frances Tiafoe and Serena Williams at the Hopman Cup.
The match was very pleasant to watch with both teams playing at their best. However, Federer and Tiafoe had a couple of close encounters.
First Roger hit Frances Tiafoe from a close range with a “deadly” backhand at his chest (Serena was laughing about that).

Later on, it was Tiafoe to hit Federer in the face with a backhand volley (Serena looked a bit more worried in this case).
However, everything was more than good between Roger and Frances and both had a good laugh about it.
Eventually, Roger and Belinda won the match 4-2 4-3 (30 to conquer the tie (2-1) after Federer defeated Tiafoe 6-4 6-1 and Serena beat Belinda 4-6 6-4 6-3.
