According to Tennis Canada, 6,5 million Canadian have played tennis last year that is pretty good for a population of 36 million people. 4,4 million Canadians have played at least 4 times in the last years.
Tennis in Canada is also the highest ranked individual sport and the 5th most favorite sport in general.
Who are the favorite players for the Canadians
It’s also interesting to notice that the most favorite men players are Roger Federer (25%), Rafael Nadal (24%), and Milos Raonic (20%). Among the female player,s the most popular is Serena Williams (26%) followed by Genie Bouchard (20%).
