Ranked world no.22, the Spaniard played her last match on the 19th of February when she was defeated by world no.12 Ludmilla Samsonova 6-7(3) 7-6(5) 6-4 in the 1st round in Dubai (draw).
Currently, during this season Badosa has managed to achieve an overall 4-2 record. Paula Badosa’s best achievement of the present year was reaching the semifinal in Adelaide.
She is also scheduled to play in Miami (Miami Open) after Indian Wells. The main draw will start on the 8th of March.
