Juan Carlos Ferrero, the coach of Carlos Alcaraz, has expressed skepticism regarding the severity of Novak Djokovic’s injury sustained at the Australian Open. Following the director of the Australian Open’s assertion, Novak Djokovic’s hamstring was widely reported to have torn by 3 cm.

Although there really is no reason for him to do so, Djokovic himself has not provided any prognosis, scan results, or really issued any sort of update beyond a very basic outline of how he was feeling. This has only fueled rumors. Todd Woodbridge is one prominent player who has questioned the story Tiley is telling about the game.

“Not a liar, but…”

Soon after winning the Australian Open, Djokovic snatched the world number 1 rank from Carlos Alcaraz. Juan Carlos commented:

“I see it as difficult, if it were so, Djokovic would move as he did. Obviously if he has the ability to withstand brutal pain, which may be, good for him and he deserved to win. I am not going to call Djokovic a liar, but I will only say that I find it difficult.”
