ENTRY LISTS. Injured Rafael Nadal withdraws from both Doha and Dubai

Rafael Nadal has confirmed that he will not be able to compete in both Doha and Dubai due to his hip injury, and it is unclear if he will participate in the "Sunshine Doubles" in Indian Wells and Miami.

Rafael Nadal was not able to go deep at the latest Australian Open after struggling with a nasty hip injury. Soon after the match, it was clear that the Spanish sensation had to stay out of competition for a long time in order to recover. Unfortunately, Rafa Nadal has just confirmed that he will not be able to compete in both Doha and Dubai because of his injury.

Will Nadal play in Indian Wells and Miami?

At this point, it is not clear if Rafael Nadal will also compete in the so-called “Sunshine Doubles” in Indian Wells and Miami next month. Rafa is well known for focusing his attention, especially on the clay-court season, and therefore, it is plausible that he will keep the 2 tournaments in the USA, which are played on hard courts.

Currently the world no.6, the Spaniard played his last match on the 18th of January when he lost to world no.56 Mackenzie Mcdonald 6-4 6-4 7-5 in the 2nd round of the Australian Open (draw).

He is also scheduled to play in Dubai (Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships) on the 27th of February and Indian Wells (BNP Paribas Open) on the 8th of March.
