Stefanos Tsitsipas has always stated that tennis is not one of the most important things in life. The Greek champion sent a heartfelt message on Twitter to the victims of the recent earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria. This was his message.
“Sending love and support to all those affected by the ongoing challenges in Turkey and Syria. Remember that hope and strength are always within us, and together we will overcome any obstacle and create a better future.”

Ranked no.3 (career-high), the Greek played his last match on the 5th of February when he beat world no.571 Andres Andrade 7-6(1) 6-1 in the Rubber 4 of the Davis Cup (draw).
At the moment, during this season Tsitsipas owns an overall 12-1 win-loss record. Stefanos Tsitsipas’s most significant achievement of the current season was reaching the final at the Australian Open.
He is also scheduled to play in Acapulco (Abierto Mexicano Telcel) after Rotterdam. The main draw will start on the 13th of February.
