Stefanos Tsitsipas and Holger Rune have a rather good relationship and recently the Greek sensation said that he was a bit worried that the teenager has burnt out. According to the world no.4, Holger is too obsessed with tennis and that could be detrimental to his psyche.
Legendary coach Patrick Mouratoglou used to mentor Stefanos every now and then, and he is also now Holger’s full-time coach. As reported by Tennis Majors, the Frenchman stated that he is not so worried about Holger Rune being obsessed with tennis.
“I know that Stefanos said that he was a bit worried for Holger, thinking that he might burn out because he’s too passionate about tennis. There is always a risk of burnout on the other hand. What is sure is that if you’re not passionate, you’re not going to burn out but you’re not going to be a champion,” said Patrick.
Tsitsipas at the Australian Open, ranking, and results in 2023
At the moment ranked no.4, Tsitsipas has achieved a compiled 8-0 match record in 2023. The Greek is playing at the Australian Open where he bested the world no.61 Quentin Halys 6-3 6-4 7-66, the world no.169 Rinky Hijikata 6-3 6-0 6-2, the world no.63 Tallon Griekspoor 6-2 7-65 6-3 and the world no.16 Jannik Sinner 6-4 6-4 3-6 4-6 6-3.
Stefanos Tsitsipas will come up against the world no.71 Jiri Lehecka in the quarter on Tuesday at 9:00 pm on Rod Laver Arena. Their head to head is 1-0 for Tsitsipas.

Tsitsipas has scheduled to compete next in Rotterdam (ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament). He will start the tournament from the main draw that will commence on the 13th of February.
Holger Rune in 2023
WLWWLWWLLW Ranked no.10 (career-high), Holger played his last match on the 23rd of January when he surrendered to world no.6 Andrey Rublev 6-3 3-6 6-3 4-6 7-6(9) in the 4th round of the Australian Open (draw).
At present, during this year the Dane has a 3-2 record.
He is also scheduled to play in Rotterdam (ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament) after Montpellier. The main draw will start on the 6th of February.
