Since beating Daniil Medvedev to advance to the fourth round of the Australian Open, Sebastian Korda has had an incredible run in the first slam of the year, probably the best in his tennis career. The promising young athlete accomplished this amazing feat with his girlfriend Ivana Nedved by his side, who was his biggest cheerleader.
Ivana Nedved may not be well known outside of the tennis community, but she has a close relationship with a famous soccer player. She is the daughter of Pavel Nedved, a renowned soccer player who is regarded as one of the game’s all-time greatest players. He won the sport’s highest accolade, the Ballon d’Or.

Korda at the Australian Open, ranking, and results in 2023
LLWLWLWLWW Ranked no.31, Korda has managed to achieve a 7-1 record in 2023. Sebastian is playing at the moment at the Australian Open where he defeated the world no.87 Cristian Garin 6-4 1-6 6-3 6-2, the world no.138 Yosuke Watanuki 6-2 7-5 6-4 and the world no.8 Daniil Medvedev 7-67 6-3 7-64.
Sebastian Korda will square off with the world no.11 Hubert Hurkacz in the 4th round on Sunday at 2:30 pm on Rod Laver Arena. Their record is 1-0 for Hurkacz.
Sebastian was the finalist in Adelaide (Adelaide International 1).
