France and Switzerland will face each other for a historical Davis Cup final. The French team will have the advantage of playing home and they took immediately took advantage of it by choosing the worst possible surface for their opponents: clay courts!
So Roger and Stan will play Pierre-Mauroy stadium in Lille on clay from 21-23 November.
The “good” news for the Swiss team is that an in-form Monfils will probably not play (knee problem). So the French Team should have Tsonga and Gasquet as their top players.
