Pliskova: I cleared my mind after the second set

“In the second set I lost my serve a few times and had a few chances to break back, and I made it back to 5-all, but I didn’t do well in the tie-break. She was playing so well, but after the second set I really cleared my head a little bit and started to play much more aggressively. In the third set she started to miss a few more shots and I think that’s why I won today.”

After this title Karolina will be ranked world no. 31. More to come.
