Novak Djokovic And Carlos Alcaraz

Italian legend Adriano Panatta believes that Novak Djokovic is still the man to beat in 2023, even if Carlos Alcaraz is the world number 1. The 1976 French Open champion says that even if Carlito is at the top of the rankings, it is well known that Novak was not able to have a full season because of his vaccination status.

Turing a recent interview, Panatta commented: “Looking beyond the numbers that reward Carlos Alcaraz, it seems clear to me that Djokovic is currently the strongest: he is solid, he makes little mistakes and wins. After all, he won Wimbledon and the Masters at the end of the year.”
