Tsitsipas Rublev Mubadala Final

Andrey Rublev, the current Mubadala World Tennis champion, was defeated by Stefanos Tsitsipas in a commanding performance, 6-2, 4-6, 6-2 on Sunday.

The match between the players, who have played frequently over the past few years, was very interesting. Rublev was disappointed to lose the match. He is also to blame because he drastically changed the momentum at the end of the second set to win it 6-4.

He had a great chance to turn things around before abruptly collapsing at the start of the decisive set. He led 40-15 in the opening game of the decisive set, but he then made a string of errors that gave Tsitsipas another break point. He missed his serve with a wide forehand, lost it again, and fell behind 0-4. Eventually, the match ended with the Greek sensation conquering the encounter in 3 sets.
