Uncle Toni explains why he is so optimistic about Rafa Nadal's prospects in 2023

Rafael Nadal And His Uncle Toni

Rafael Nadal had to endure countless injuries during his incredibly successful career. The Spanish sensation has been struggling with an issue with his foot that made him wonder if he could keep playing tennis professionally. Fortunately, Uncle Toni confirmed that a treatment that his nephew had after the Roland Garros went pretty well, and therefore, he thinks that Rafa will have a great season next year.

During a recent interview, Toni commented: “Fortunately, the foot treatment Rafael Nadal underwent after Roland Garros had the desired effect. It was a crucial step for the continuation of his career. Unfortunately, the abdominal injury prevented him from expressing himself at his best in the second half of the season. I am convinced that 2023 will be a great year for Rafa. There will be 8-10 players fighting for the big titles.”
