Rafael Nadal and Stefanos Tsitsipas are among the top names who will compete in the newly-minted United Cup. This event will be a mixed competition with the representation of tennis players from the ATP and the WTA tour that will defend the colors of their country.

Ranked no.2, Nadal played his last match on the 17th of November when he overcame world no.3 Casper Ruud 7-5 7-5 in the round robin in the Nitto ATP Finals (draw).

Now ranked no.4, Tsitsipas played his last match on the 18th of November when he was overcome by world no.8 Andrey Rublev 3-6 6-3 6-2 in the round robin in the Nitto ATP Finals (draw).
This year Stefanos owns a 61-24 record. Tsitsipas conquered 2 titles in 2022 in Monte-Carlo and Mallorca. The Greek was the runner-up in Rotterdam, Rome, Cincinnati, Astana and Stockholm.
