Stefanos Tsitsipas and Maria Sakkari will represent team Greece in the newly minted United Cup. The ATP and WTA tour had the brilliant idea of starting a joint competition similar to the Hopman Cup. Tennis players will represent their nations. The competition will see 18 teams facing each other in a round-robin format. Each tie will have two men’s and women’s singles and one mixed double.
Stefanos and Maria had a lot of fun a few years ago playing together in the Hopman Cup and they have again the chance to partner together. Team Greece will be opposed to France, Belgium, Croatia, Argentina, and a team that still needs to be named. They will play in Perth and the competition will start from the 29th of December to the 8th of January.
