Daria Kasatkina has just ended her season after losing in the WTA Finals against Carolina Garcia. This year, Daria hit the headlines after coming out as a lesbian and introducing her girlfriend Natalia Zabiiako. After Daria’s last match of the season, Natalia posted the following message on Twitter sharing her support for her girlfriend.

Currently ranked no.8 (career-high), Darya played her last match on the 5^th

of November when she was overcome by world no.6 Caroline Garcia 4-6 6-1 7-6(5) in the round robin in Fort Worth (draw).

Until now, during this year the Russian achieved an overall 41-22 record. Darya has won 2 titles in 2022 in San Jose and Granby.
