Insane Federer returns 142mph serve with backhand winner

One of the weakest shots of Roger Federer is definitely his backhand return. Well apparently Roger is working on it with great results.

The Maestro was playing the second round against Samuel Groth, the Australian that holds the record for the fastest recorded serve in tennis history. (see article)

Groth was 3-5 30-0 down to fire an amazing 142 mph serve that Roger returned with an incredible back hand winner. (see video above)

No wonder why after the match Roger commented “He’s got unbelievable power so my arm’s still vibrating a bit”

Federer will play the next match against Granollers.
