Daniil Medvedev won the ATP500 in Vienna on Sunday after defeating Denis Shapovalov 4-6 6-3 6-2. During the ceremony after the final, there was a funny exchange between the Russian and the Canadian player. After Denis said he likes the former world number 1, Daniil replied: “I also like you a lot, but I have a wife; we are gonna keep it simple.”

Ranked no.4, the Russian played his last match on the 30th of October when he defeated world no.19 Denis Shapovalov 4-6 6-3 6-2 in the final in Vienna to win his 14th career title.
