Djokovic. Nadal will come back strong and motivated

This is not the first time that Rafael Nadal has been injured.

The world no.2 has been coping with nasty injuries almost from the beginning of his incredible career and he has always managed to find his way back instyle.

In 2013 he had an incredible comeback after being sidelined for 6 months to win 10 titles (2 slams). See details.

Djokovic: He will come back strong and motivated

Rafa’s worst competitor and good friend, Novak Djokovic, is sure he will have to face a tough Nadal in the future “He slides a lot and spends a lot of energy on each shot. His joints, his body suffers a lot, and it’s not easy. But again, he has found a way always to come back.  So I expect no less. When he comes back to the tour than to see him strong, to see him motivated.

He’s a great competitor, a great fighter. I’m sure that if he had a small percentage of coming here and playing he would do that, because he just loves the game. I have a lot of respect for him.”

Rafa is now recovering from a wrist injury and he is expected to be back for the Asian Swing.
