Emma Raducanu had a rather tricky season after her triumphant 2021 that saw her winning the US Open title. Unfortunately, the British sensation has been struggling with the physicality of playing on the WTA Tour. Emma’s 2022 was riddled with injuries and it seems her season will end with a wrist issue.

Emma has just retired from the tournament in Cluj-Napoca (citing a wrist injury) and she disappeared from the entry list in Guadalajara. Therefore, it is plausible to think that she will take a long break before starting her 2023. Still, we are waiting for a formal announcement.
