Alexander Zverev was forced to skip the second part of the season after he got badly injured his ankle while playing the Roland Garros semifinal against Rafael Nadal. The German player spent a lot of time in rehabilitation and therefore he decided to take a well-deserved break at the Maldives with his stunning girlfriend Sophia Thomalla.

The break was also taken on the occasion of Sophia’s birthday. Zverev celebrated it with the following post.

Now the world no.5, the German played his last match on the 3^rd

of June when he had to retire when playing against world no.2 Rafael Nadal in the semifinal and the scoreline was 7-6(8) 6-6 .

During this season Alexander has an overall 29-10 record. Alexander Zverev’s most significant performance of the present season was getting to the final in Montpellier and Madrid.
