Roger Federer is going for it!

The world no.3 managed to recover from a tough match against Cilic (3 round) to find the energies to win another 3 setter against David Ferrer.

The key for Roger was his serve to win 80% of the points on his first serve in this 1 hour and 53 minutes fight.

Roger:  I found the energies to serve well

After the match Federer commented “I was able to find energy and really serve better at the very end, which was key against David because he was doing a really good job on my second serve to put me under pressure,”

In the second set the crowd sang “Happy Birthday” (It was Roger’s 33rrd). The Maestro commented It’s very much appreciated. It’s so nice seeing so many people care for you and wishing you all the best and all that.”

The semis vs. Lopez

Federer will play against a surprising Feliciano Lopez for a place in the final. Head to head is 10-0 for Roger that is the favorite to get to the final… if he still has the energy.
