Alexander Zverev was unable to be back to competition after he got injured his ankle when playing the Roland Garros semifinal against Rafael Nadal. The German player tried to do everything he could to compete again in 2022 but that was not possible. After so much training, Sascha decided to take a well-deserved break at the Maldives with his stunning girlfriend Sophia Thomalla, who published the following post on Instagram.

Now ranked no.5, Zverev played his last match on the 3^rd of June when he had to retire when playing against world no.3 Rafael Nadal in the semifinal and the scoreline was 7-6(8) 6-6 .

Presently, during this year Alexander owns a composed 29-10 win-loss record. Alexander Zverev’s most significant performance of the current season was reaching the final in Montpellier and Madrid.
