Carlos Alcaraz won the US Open last week after playing a lot of tennis it for 2 weeks. Before winning the final in 4 sets, the tennis sensation conquered 3 consecutive matches in 5 sets. There were also some speculations that Carlito was injured right before the final when he was seen limping. Eventually, the new world number 1 found the energy to defeat Casper Ruud and bring home his first Slam title.
While it would have been wise to take some time off from the tennis court, Alcaraz decided to compete in the Davis Cup in Valencia a few days after he won the US Open. Carlito needs to be careful in managing his body and not overplay to avoid injuries. A few months ago, Carlos Alcaraz was seen playing with a huge bandage on his elbow.
This is a video of him starting his training in Valencia 3 days after the US Open final. He can’t be fresh.
