Troicki makes a winning return after doping ban

Finally Viktor Troicki is back!

The Serbian has been sidelined for 12 months after a controversial suspension for doping. Troicki has now the harsh task to get back to his “usual rankings”. The former world no.12 is now ranked no.847 and he will try to take advantage of all opportunities to climb up.

The Serbian received a wildcard from the organization of the 250ATP event Gstaad to defeat Thiem in his first match. Viktor was a bit rusty to be broken in his second service game, but then he recovered to finally win the match 7-6 (4) 6-4.

In the next round Troicki will play world no.59 Andrey Golubev. You can bet that the Serbian is going for more.
