Cornet’s former coach accused of rape by Fiona Ferro (when she was 15)

Fiona Ferro And Alize Cornet

Fiona Ferro accuses Alize Cornet’s former coach Pierre Bouteyre of rape and sexual assault as reported by the Nice Matin. Apparently the episodes happened in Saint-Raphaël between 2012 and 2015, when Fiona was between 15 and 18 years old.

Bouteyre is aware of the accusations but disputes the accusation of rape.

Recently, former professional tennis player Pam Shriver revealed she was in an “improper” relationship with her coach when she was 17 and he was 50 and married. She said the relationship was extremely taxing on her.

Lately, there was also an uproar about some “awkward hugs” between rising tennis star and 16-year-old Bejlek with her coaching team after she qualified for the US Open main draw.
