Djokovic

Novak Djokovic is officially the world no.1!

The “Serbinator” achieved the impossible in a triumphant march that lasted 5 months. Nole conquered Wimbledon, Cincinnati, the Us Open, Shanghai and he reached the finals at the Queen’s and in Bercy. The world no.1 was right to say that he wasn’t too upset after he lost to Karen Khachanov in the Paris final as he had to put that loss in a much wider (and really successful context. Even more interesting, Djokovic has now an advantage of more than 500 points over the world no.2 (Rafael Nadal) and he has not many points to defend for the next 6 months.

Khachanov

Karen has conquered his 1st Master ATP1000 in Paris after defeating the likes of Isner, Zverev, Thiem, and Djokovic. After last week Karen gains 7 places to be the new world no.11. (career high).

Coric

Borna lost in the 3rd round in Paris, but with Sock, Dimitrov and Goffin going down in the rankings he gained 1 place to be ranked no.12 (career high).

Medvedev

Daniil’s current ranking had a similar script than Coric’s. The Russian lost in the 2nd round in Bercy but with the demise of Sock, Dimitrov and Goffin he is up 1 place to be ranked no.16 (career high).
