ATP Rankings. Djokovic officialy no.2, Coric at career high

Novak and Borna got precious points for their rankings after a fantastic week in Shnghai

Novak Djokovic and Borna Coric were the Shanghai finalists and the big “winners” of the new rankings.

Djokovic

Nole is on an 18-matches winning streak after he has won back to back Cincinnati, the US Open and Shanghai. The Serbian has now managed to overtake Roger Federer as the new world no.2, and he is exceptionally close to Nadal to grab the very top of the rankings.

Coric

Even if Borna has won “only” 1 title (Halle), he is having a rather consistent season especially after reaching the semifinal in Indian Wells and now the final in Shanghai. After last week, the Croat gained 6 places in the rankings to be the new world dno.13 (career high and much more to come).
