Rafael Nadal and his wife Maria Francisca Perello are expecting a child, according to the reports from the Spanish press. The fantastic news has not been confirmed by Nadal’s camp as of now.
Tennis legends Andy Roddick and Chris Evert congratulated Rafael Nadal and his wife. Roddick went back to the memory lane, remembering the first time he and his wife were expecting a child. The 2003 US Open champion revealed:
“Tennis is a big part of life, but I remember the first time we found out that we were pregnant. It just makes tennis feel so small. Congrats to Rafa and Maria and the rest of their extended family. We all know how close that family is.”

Now ranked no.4, Nadal played his last match on the 5th of June when he defeated world no.5 Casper Ruud 6-3 6-3 6-0 in the final in French Open to win his 92nd career title.
Currently, during this year Nadal owns an overall 30-3 match record. Rafael conquered 4 titles in 2022 in Melbourne, at the Australian Open, in Acapulco and at the French Open. The Spaniard was the finalist in Indian Wells.
