Caroline Wozniacki wins her 30th career title after a great week in Beijing as the world no.2 conquered the event after winning all matches in straight sets.
The Dane was rock solid against Anastasia Sevastova in the final to win 6-3 6-3 in just 87 minutes. The only moment when Caroline blinked was when she was leading 6-3 4-1 (2 breaks-up). In fact, the Dane conceded a service game (4-2) and Sevastova managed to get dangerously close (4-3). However, that was it as the former world no.1 won the following 2 games.
After this week, Caroline is much closer to Simona Halep in the rankings as now she is less than 1000pts from the world no.1
