Simona Halep is back to competitions after an interesting North American stint where the Romanian had a fantastic run following her title in Montreal. Later on, Simona lost the final in Cincinnati after she couldn’t convert a match point against Kiki Bertens, and at the US Open she crashed out in the first round at the hands an excellent Kaia Kanepi.
Simona is now in Wuhan where she is leading an extremely strong draw with all the top players except for Serena Williams that is never too keen to play in Asia.
