Denis Shapovalov loses an extremely tough match in the quarterfinals against Martin Klizan. The Canadian was leading comfortably 6-3 5-3 while all of the sudden he got shaky to lose 7 consecutive games and trail 6-3 5-7 0-3. Denis wasn’t able to recover the deficit and he lost 3-6 7-5 6-3.

Shapovalov will now fly to Shenzhen for the next ATP250 event. His chase to his first ATP title has just been postponed.
