Another day of misery for Fabio Fognini that crashed out in the first round in Rome.
The Italian is really struggling from a mental point of view to suffer his 3rd consecutive loss (the 2nd straight exit in a first round).
Fabio was never in the match against Lukas Rosol that had to just break him once in 6th game of the first set (4-2) and twice in the second set (1st and 7th game).
Once again Fognini’s attitude wasn’t really appreciated by the public (his own public this time!) to be heavily booed when he was leaving the court. His response was to cheer them thumbs up!
Lukas Rosol will now play Ivan Dodig in the next round. Head to head is 2-0 for Lukas. The prize? Playing King Roger in the third round.
