MIAMI ENTRY LIST. Djokovic, still in with Nadal out and Alcaraz, Medvedev the players to watch

This is the latest entry list of the ATP1000 that will take place in Miami from next week. Djokovic is still in while Nadal has already retired from the competition

Djokovic And Alcaraz

The Miami Open entry list is quite unique with the presence of Novak Djokovic, who has already declared that he will not compete because he is unvaccinated. There are some speculations that Nole is still on the entry list because he may still try to get in the US with a special exemption. However, that sounds unplausible.

Rafael Nadal has already announced that he will not play in Miami. The Spanish sensation has already played a lot of tennis after winning 3 tournaments. He is now 2 wins for conquering also Indian Wells. He declared that he needs 3 weeks to adjust for the clay court season.

Alcaraz and Medvedv

With the absence of Nadal and most probably Djokovic, the players to watch will be Carlos Alcaraz and Daniil Medvedev. Carlito is in spectacular form after reaching the Indian Wells semifinals in style. It will not be a huge surprise if he wins the tournament. Medvedev looked not at his best in Indian Wells, where he lost in the 3rd round to Gael Monfils to surrender his world no.1 rank on Monday.
