Tsitsipas hits back at Kyrgios

Stefanos Tsitsipas didn’t like Kyrgios making fun of one of his tweets.

Stefanos Tsitsipas and Nick Kyrgios do not seem to be on great terms. Besides being both great tennis players with Greek origins, they do not share much.

From one side, the Australian seems not to take very seriously his job, on another, the Greek has a full dedication to his professional life. The are also rather different in how they related with their colleagues.

What happened between Tsitsipas and Kyrgios?

Stefanos is well known for posting philosophical posts, and the last one about New York was mocked by Kyrgios.

Tsitsipas tweezed: “It’s amazing of how many different sounds you can hear while walking in NYC. Just close your eyes and absorb!”

The reply from Kyrgios was unwelcoming …”da fuq.”

We all know who Kyrgios is. TSITSIPAS

Stefanos was asked by The Times to comment on the episode, and he replied

Everybody knows who Kyrgios is, let’s be honest. I know some people see these things I do as something weird, writing all these tweets that make no sense.

It is from a creator’s perspective. I have lots of people I admire watching on YouTube. There are so many creators out there who produce interesting content. This creative mindset they have seems limitless. You can do anything with it, inspire future kids.

It’s not sitting in my room playing video games like someone does (like Kyrgios?). It’s better going outside and creating something rather than just sitting inside playing video games for the whole day, which I did before and now see no point in doing.

There’s a lot of things out there to discover.”

Yes, 2 different personalities.
