What’s the problem with Genie Bouchard. CHRIS EVERT

The American doesn’t think that Genie Bouchard can go back to her previous past when she was ranked no.5 in the world.

Genie Bouchard has been having a rather weird career.

The Canadian looked set for greatness when at just at 20 years of age she was ranked no.5 following her fantastic run in Wimbledon where she reached the final.

Unfortunately, things got sideways for the Canadian beauty that was probably too distracted by her “off court” duties to become incapable of going deep tournaments anymore.

Genie is currently ranked 123 in the world, and she is playing the qualifications at the US Open.

Genie Bouchard is not top5 material. CHRIS EVERT

The American legend Chris Evert legend was asked about her opinion about Genie, and she was rather straightforward in her reply to say

“I don’t think she can get back to where she was, but I don’t doubt that she can get back to top 30. I don’t see why not. She’s proven that she has the game to be dangerous when it’s on, but the problem is it really hasn’t been a consistently the game that she has three, four years ago.”
