Federer accepts wildcard to play in Monte Carlo

What a good news for Federer’s fans (and the Monte Carlo organisation).

The Maestro has decided to accept a wild card from the organisation to play in the Principality. Roger has never won a title in Monte Carlo to be runner-up to (guess who?) Rafael Nadal between 2006 and 2008.

Roger doesn’t play in Monte Carlo since 2011 when he lost to Melzer and a good result this year would give a decisive boost to overtake Wawrinka in the rankings in the next few months.

The tournament will start next week.
