Belinda Bencic is champion in the making. She had a great run in Charleston to reach the final beating great players such as Maria Kirilenko and Sara Errani.
The young Swiss was 2 points away from reaching the final in the third set tiebreak, but she had to bow to another great newcomer, Jana Cepelova, that has beaten the great Serena on her path to the final.
Jana defeated Belinda 6-4 5-7 7-6 (7) in 2 hour and 33 minutes.
Even if Bencic will be very disappointed by this loss, she must be happy as she will break in the top 100 from the next week and she can be confident she can trade shots with the very best.
