HIP SURGERY. Injured Nishikori to be out for many months.

Kei Nishikori reveals that he had to undergo at hip surgery.

Kei Nishikori has been struggling from a physical point of view for many years. Unfortunately, he has not played a single match since competing in Indian wells in October. The Japanese sensation revealed that he has been having issues with his hip,

Eventually, he had to accept having arthroscopic hip surgery. Kei will be back to competitions in 6 months.

This was his statement:

“Hi everyone, I wanted to give you an update. As most of you know, I have not been able to play since Indian Wells with my left hip injury.

After trying several different rehab options I have decided (together with my medical team) to have arthroscopic hip surgery this week. I will work as hard as I can and the goal is to be back in about 6 months. Thank you for all your support and look forward to seeing you on the tour again soon. Best, Kei.”
