Belinda Bencic and Ons Jabeur are the last top players who declared being tested positive to Coronavirus after Rafael Nadal and Emma Raducanu. All of them were in Abu Dhabi for the occasion of the Mubadala World Tennis Championship.
Emma Raducanu was the first one to test positive to skip the exhibition. Then, Rafael Nadal and his coach Carlos Moya released the statement that they got infected.
Yesterday, it was time for Belinda Bencic and Ons Jabeur also to announce that they got infected by Covid-19.

Belinda Bencic
“Hi everyone, I just wanted to provide a quick update that unfortunately and even though I am fully vaccinated, I recently tested positive for COVID-19. I am currently isolating and taking all precautionary measurements to get through this as best as possible as I am experiencing quite severe symptoms (fever, aches, chills).
While the timing is not ideal – as I was in the final stages of my preparations for the Australian Open swing – I will make my way to Australia as soon as I am cleared and past the isolation period.”
Ons Jabeur
“Hi everyone!
I am writing these words to let you know that, despite being vaccinated, I tested positive for COVID-19.
Even though I’m experiencing strong symptoms, I hope to overcome the virus quickly and get well soon. I’m currently isolating in Tunisia and I will provide you an update when I have fully recovered.

Presently, during this year Emma has managed to achieve a 25-9 win-loss record. The Brit conquered 1 title at the U.S. Open. Raducanu was the runner-up in the Chicago.

Until now, during this year Bencic has a 37-20 match record. Bencic clinched 1 title in Tokyo. Belinda was the finalist in Adelaide and in Berlin.
Ons Jabeur in 2021
LWWWLWLLLL Currently ranked no.10, the Tunisian played her last match on the 19th of October when she had to retire when playing against world no.34 Ekaterina Alexandrova in the 1st round and the scoreline was 6-1 1-0 .
Until now, during this year Jabeur has a 48-19 record. Ons conquered 1 title in Birmingham. Ons was the finalist in Charleston and in Chicago.
