Andy Murray played a great semi-final against Rafael Nadal to have a shot at winning the Mubadala World Tennis Championship

Andy Murray and Rafael Nadal clashed against each other in the semi-final of the prestigious Mubadala World Tennis Championship. The Spaniard was the hot favourite to win the match and the competition. However, Andy Murray upset the world number 6 in straight sets with a 6-3 7-5 score line.

After the match, Andy commented:

“Me and Rafa have played so many tough matches over the years. Both of us have gone through injury troubles and it’s just great to have the opportunity to be with him on court again.”

Rafael Nadal will face Denis Shapovalov for the third place, while Andy Murray will be opposed to Andrey Rublev for the title. Both matches will take place on Saturday 18th of December.
