The coaching side of Caroline Wozniacki has always been a little bit of a mess.
The Dane split with Thomas Hogstedt after just 3 months and then she hired Mortensen on a trial basis (at least for Indian Wells and Miami).
But now her head coach remains her father Piotr that was called on court for coaching during her match against Lisicki.
Caroline commented “Obviously, I’m not stupid, so I see some things and I know approximately what I need to do out there. But sometimes when you’re in the game and you want to win, you focus so much on that, that there are some things you don’t see. So it’s nice to have someone from the outside that just says, ‘Pay attention to this, and this can help you.’”
