ATP Rankings: Fognini at career high, Monfils closer to top 20, Mayer makes a giant leap

This week we had 3 ATP250 tournaments in Zagreb, Montpellier and Vina Del Mar.

Vina del Mar

The tournament in Chile was the one to give the most in terms of rankings. In fact, after winning the title, Fabio Fognini traded places with Youzhny to be now ranked no.14. The Vina del Mar runner-up Leonardo Mayer has gained 33 positions to be now ranked world no.58.

Santiago Giraldo reached the semifinals in Vina del Mar to gain 14 positions and be ranked world no.57.

Zagreb

The Zagreb winner, Marin Cilic remains world no. 37 has won the same tournament last year and the Runner-Up Tommy Haas is still world no.12.

Montpellier

Going to Montpellier, Gael Monfils won the title to gain 7 positions and being ranked world no.23. Gasquet, the runner-up,  is still world no 9.

Finally the winner of the West Lake Challenger (Auckland)Bradley Klahn gained 13 positions to be ranked world no. 67 (career high).
