Another victim in Melbourne: Jamie Murray collapses for heat stroke

Tough conditions at the Australian Open and Jamie Murray was another victim.

The Scott played the doubles against Reid and Seville (partnering with John Peers). After winning that match he collapsed. Jamie needed a medical supervision for 2 hours.

Jamie commented “It started once the match had finished and I got back to the locker room.I had a lot of ice treatment; I was getting big cramps in my legs. I don’t know what would have happened if we had gone into a third set but luckily that wasn’t necessary

“It wasn’t too pleasant but it was good to get the win and I think I’ll be feeling much better tomorrow.”
