Naomi Osaka is about to face Marie Bouzkova in the first round of the US Open with all the intention to defend her 2020 title.

Now ranked no.86, Bouzkova played her last match on the 23rd of August when she was defeated by world no.59 Rebecca Peterson 7-6(9) 7-6(6) in the 1st round in Chicago (draw).
