Emma Raducanu is not even in the top 100, but she is already one of the most appealing players on the WTA Tour. Emma got more and more notoriety after reaching the fourth round in Wimbledon last month after receiving a wild card for the main draw.
Emma is currently ranked 184 and she is 175 in the live rankings following her good run in Landisville, where she is about to play the quarters.
The wildcard in Chicago
Raducanu received a wildcard for the upcoming W100 event in Chicago. The wild-card was announced by the organization with the following tweet:
“We’ve got another wild card headed your way! Emma Raducanu has won THREE singles titles on the ITF Circuit! At the 2021 Wimbledon Championships, Raducanu entered as a wildcard on her Grand Slam debut and advanced to the fourth round. Come see her at the Chicago Tennis Fest!”

At the moment ranked no.184, Emma played her last match on the 12th of August when she beat world no.165 Ekaterine Gorgodze 3-6 6-0 6-1 in the 2nd round of the W100 Landisville (draw).
This season Emma has managed to achieve a 9-4 record.
